Iran, Syria to probe Mugniyah's killing

Iran and Syria have set up a joint team to launch a probe into the assassination of Imad Mugniyah, a senior Hezbollah commander.
The decision was made following talks between Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Syrian officials, IRNA quoted Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Alireza Sheikh-Attar as saying on Friday.
The official stressed the investigation team would continue its work until it determines 'the perpetrators of the crime and the behind-the-scene players.
Mugniyah was killed on Tuesday night in a car bombing in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
